Synthetic Organic Chemist – MS level

Type: Full-time
The successful candidate will primarily be responsible for synthesis of Ennova’s cataloged specialty chemical compounds of which mostly are used as building blocks in drug discovery research. Depending on technical difficulties of each compound, candidate will work independently or under supervision.  Other minor responsibilities may include various chemistry laboratory-related functions.
Candidates with a master’s degree in organic chemistry and at lease one year working experience in organic synthetic are required.  Familiarity with common analytical methods (HPLC, NMR) are preferred.

Synthetic Organic Chemist – Ph.D level

Type: Full-time
The successful candidate will design or optimize synthetic routes, carry out or supervise the synthesis of Ennova’s new and existing cataloged specialty chemical compounds of which mostly are used as building blocks in drug discovery research. Strong leadership,  problem solving ability, and excellent communication skills (orally or in writing) are essential.
A doctor’s degree in organic chemistry and at lease five year working experience in organic synthetic are required.  Must be skilled at reading and interpreting  reports from various analytical methods, such as HPLC, LCMS, and NMR.

Chemist – intern

Type: Part-time
The successful candidate will primarily be helping other associate or senior scientists in reaction work up.  Tasks typically include purifying compounds with liquid chromatography, weighing chemicals, data entry, and other chemistry lab-related responsibilities.
Candidates must have or is working toward a bachelor’s degree in organic chemistry.

Synthetic Organic Chemist – Postdoctor

If you are a recent graduate or expect to graduate within six months from a New Jersey university with an organic chemistry major and would like to gain first hand experience in entrepreneurship in a local small business company while sharpening your professional skills in synthetic organic chemistry, Ennova MedChem can be your partner to apply for the Techonology Fellowship Program from New Jersey Commission on Science & Technology. The deadline for Spring 2007 is May 2, 2007.
Upon approval of the fellowship, successful candidate will participate in designing new compounds, establish or optimize synthetic routes, and carry out synthesis of Ennova’s new and existing cataloged specialty chemical compounds.  Depending on the performance, candidate may be offered a long-term employment positions after completing the fellowship program.
